During my recent stay at the Baymont By Wyndham Augusta Riverwatch for a corporate retreat, I found it to be quite functional for business traveling. Located conveniently near the highway, it was easy to find and access. Check-in was smooth thanks to Patti at the registration desk, whose friendly demeanor was genuinely appreciated in a hectic environment. The hotel boasts a 24-hour business center and complimentary internet, making it suitable for remote work. While the outdoor pool and gym were nice touches, the real highlight was the kitchen area in the rooms, complete with a large refrigerator and ample cabinet space. I did wish for a convection stove, which would have been helpful for any culinary adventures. Breakfast, however, could use improvement. Although complimentary, it was cold, and the juice machine was disappointing. With anticipated remodeling, this hotel holds the potential for a solid stay for business travelers seeking basic amenities and comfort.
